Rotaract Club of United Ranchi successfully conducted AATMARAKSHA, a self-defence workshop on 21st August at Chotanagpur Girl’s High School. The instructor and speaker of the session was Sensei Ravi Soren, Black Belt 1st Dan who demonstrated the necessary techniques to students that will help them in any uncertainties. The workshop was attended by 130 students who were provided with refreshments.

Rotaract Club of United Ranchi held a First Aid Awareness Programme on 18th August at Rajkiya Municipal Girl’s Primary School, Shraddha Nand Path. The Rotaractors demonstrated the proper usage of medical aids and provided guidance for handling injuries.

Rotaract Club of United Ranchi in collaboration with Empyrean Club of St. Xaviers College, Ranchi organized a Nationwide Webinar on the Career Opportunities in MBA on 13th August hosted by Mr. Tanay Shankar ex- IRS, master’s Student at Harvard University, MBA Gold Medallist IIM Indore. The webinar guided us through various aspects of MBA journey, how to prepare for CAT and OMET exams and the skills an MBA program cultivates followed by a Q and A session. The Webinar was attended by 65 participants.

Rotaract Club of United Ranchi has taken up an initiative to educate women about mensuration in the areas that are underprivileged and has taken it upon themselves to not only educate them but also provide them with sanitary napkins every month to encourage menstrual health and hygiene and discourage the usage of cloth as a replacement for sanitary napkins. A total of approx 250 pads are distributed each month.

Rotaract Club of Arka Jain University pre-celebrated Diwali with the innocent souls who live on the street under the community service project- Gleaming Lights on 11th November 2023 near Sakchi Parking area. Club members conducted street outreach, bringing the joy of Diwali to those living on the streets. The club members distributed sweets and snacks, lit up diyas, and candles to create a festive environment. One of the highlights was the safe bursting of crackers with the children, leading to their priceless smiles. The event reinforced the message that Diwali is a festival for everyone, regardless of their living situation, promoting unity and compassion.
