Ranchi, [16/07/2024 - 19/07/2024] — The Rotaract Club of Zinnia Ranchi is thrilled to announce the successful completion of our comprehensive road safety campaign, #कवच🔰. This initiative aimed to raise awareness about the importance of wearing safety gear while riding bikes or driving cars.

> The campaign began with an innovative online initiative where participants were encouraged to click a photo of themselves wearing proper safety gear while riding their bike or car. Participants then posted these photos on their social media statuses and stories using our hashtag #कवच🔰, and sent us screenshots as proof.
The online campaign garnered an impressive response, *reaching 60,000+ people👥 . This included not only participants from our state but also Panjab, Maharashtra, Hyderabad, Bengal and Country, India🇮🇳, but also from international locations such as the UAE, Canada, and Germany.*🗺 The widespread engagement highlighted the universal appeal and importance of road safety.
A notable highlight of the online campaign was the participation of *Dr. Mahua Maji, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha,*✨ who supported the cause by recording a video message to raise awareness about road safety.
*#Offline Campaign: Local Impact*
> Following the success of the online campaign, we launched an offline campaign in collaboration with the Ranchi Traffic Police. With the guidance and support of *Ranchi Traffic SP Mr. Kailash Karmali*, we prepared informative pamphlets on road safety rules. These pamphlets were distributed at various key locations across Ranchi, educating the public on the importance of road safety measures.
Our dedicated team, along with the *Ranchi Traffic Police and Traffic SP sir Mr. Kailash Karmali*👮🏻♂️, interacted with commuters, emphasizing the need to adhere to road safety guidelines. The initiative was well-received, and we observed a significant increase in awareness and compliance among the local populace.
